I have been a Nationally Certified Counselor for 30 years. I am dually licensed as both an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) & LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist) in Virginia & Louisiana. My specialization is in family systems, couples, marriage & family as well as families coping with chronic illnesses (including substance abuse). In regard to substance abuse; I have worked full time in that field for several years in the Greater New Orleans area where I provided individual and group therapy for those in recovery and their family members. I have worked at every level of care (in and outpatient) and served as the Clinical Director of a Substance Abuse IOP. I am happy to offer my experience as a counselor and family therapist to families coping with substance abuse and the ongoing recovery process.
